Overview
JSA Template Creator is our free software tool that lets you easily create risk assessments for JSA OnTheGo on your computer.
After saving your template, simply email, blue-tooth or airdrop it to any devices with the JSA OnTheGo app installed. The template can then been imported into JSA OnTheGo for immediate use.
In addition, templates that have been exported from the JSA OnTheGo app can be opened in the JSA Template Creator for additional editing.
How to create a JSA/JHA
Click the New button and enter the title and task for the job.
Click the Permits button to add any required permits for the job.
Click the Critical Risk Management to select all critical risks associated with the job.
Click the PPE button to select all PPE required for the job.
Click the Add Step button to add all steps required for the job.
Click on ADD HAZARDS and add all hazards for the step.
Click on ADD CONTROLS and add all control measures for the step.
You may optionally select the Likelihood and Consequence for the hazards and controls when editing.
Please note: The risk ratings displayed may change if you are using a custom risk matrix in the JSA OnTheGo app, however, the both likelihood and consequence will remain the same.
Exporting templates
The JSA templates folder is located in My Documents\JSA Templates and can be opened by clicking the Open templates folder button.
From here you can email/export your JSA templates to mobiles devices.
Any devices with JSA OnTheGo installed can then import the templates directly into the app for immediate use.
